Drake is getting real about his experience with COVID-19 and subsequent hair loss. On Tuesday, a fan account on Instagram shared photos of the singer poking fun at the heart design on his hairline, comparing an older photo of the full heart with a more recent one showing just the top half of the shape. "That heart is stressed 💀😭," @drizzy_drake_vids captioned the post.

To everyone's surprise, Drake jumped in the comments to defend his hairline, revealing he previously had COVID and was dealing with hair loss as a result — a common residual effect of the virus that's due to a condition called telogen effluvium. "I had Covid that sh*t grew in weird I had to start again 😂," he wrote. "It's coming back don't diss." Don't worry, Drake — you're still looking handsome, half heart and all.
