The Vampire Diaries Season 7 Premiere Pics Are All About Single Damon

It feels like forever since season six of The Vampire Diaries ended, and while we've seen the last of Elena (for now), everyone else is coming back this week. The first batch of pictures from the premiere has arrived, and everyone appears to be grieving for Elena, not to mention all the other people and things that died on the finale. As Ian Somerhalder told us at Comic-Con, the gang heads to Europe for a change of scenery, but the only sightseeing Damon appears to be doing involves local bars. The episode is titled "Day One of Twenty-Two Thousand, Give or Take," which equates to about 60 years, the amount of time Elena will presumably be locked away.
Mary Louise (Teressa Liane) and Nora are lovers — the show's first same-sex couple!
Annie Wersching as Lily, the Salvatores' estranged mother.

Meanwhile, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Bonnie (Kat Graham) are soaking up some European sun.
That can't be helping.
