If you fall into the last category and are looking to get stronger, personal trainer Rob Allen has shared his top 10 exercises to do in order to build lean muscle and improve your overall strength.

  1. Squats
  2. Barbell hip thrusts
  3. Pull-ups
  4. Shoulder press
  5. Dips
  6. Deadlifts
  7. Split squats
  8. Bent-over rows
  9. Chin-ups
  10. Bench press

In his caption, Rob explained that the following exercises should make up the core of your workouts because they're compound exercises (multiple muscle groups and joints being used at once) and will "give you the most bang for your buck in the gym." Start to implement these exercises into your existing routine and you'll be on your way to your strongest self yet. Don't forget to make necessary modifications as needed.
