To Do: Liven Up Your Workspace With a Bear Paw Succulent

If you're a fan of cute plant babies like teeny-tiny cacti or pretty rose succulents, we have another option to round out your collection: succulents with fuzzy green leaves shaped like bear paws. Officially called Cotyledon tomentosa, but better known as bear paw succulents, these little fellas are sure to add a little fun and coziness to your space.

While they're characterized by their unique hairy leaves with red edges that resemble bear claws, these succulents also grow orange bell-shaped flowers during the spring, as if we weren't already sold on those adorable paws. And if you're like me and just can't seem to keep a plant alive, you'll be happy to learn that bear paws are relatively easy to care for and can grow up to 12 inches tall, which makes for the perfect statement-making house plant.

Though bear paw succulents are quite peculiar, you can find a wide range of the popular greenery on Etsy. I never thought that I'd be itching to pet a succulent, but scrolling through pictures of these cute houseplants have certainly changed my mind. Get a closer look at bear paw succulents below.
