This Gorgeous Paradise Alone Is Worth the Trip to Thailand

Before we even begin to describe how gorgeous of a paradise Phi Phi Island is, let's get the pronunciation right: "pee-pee." You can imagine the strange looks you'd probably get when telling people where you're traveling to, but once you see how beautiful this gem in Thailand is, you won't even care what it's called.

Phi Phi is actually a group of six islands reachable by a two-hour boat ride from Phuket or a bus and ferry trip from Penang. The two main islands are Phi Phi Don and the uninhabited Phi Phi Leh. The latter is a smaller but equally gorgeous island of picturesque beaches, including the famous Maya Bay, where Leonardo DiCaprio's The Beach was filmed. There you'll find ideal snorkeling conditions as well as high cliffs surrounding the clear blue waters.
