Shanghai's $5.5 Billion Disneyland Park Is Officially Open — See the Photos!

It's official! After getting sneak peeks of the park and previewing the rides, Shanghai Disneyland is open to the public. It features the biggest, tallest castle in any Disney park and the first pirate-themed land.

Even though the opening day came with rain, thousands of excited Disney fans were still able to enjoy the attractions. This park is especially historic because it's the first Disney resort in mainland China. Check out all the fun photos from Shanghai Disneyland's first day in full operation!
