Gwen Stefani is typically known for her decades of platinum blond hair — although she's a natural brunette — but she's changing things up. On Tuesday, the "Let Me Reintroduce Myself" singer debuted a new style that falls right in line with the recent "Cruella" hair-color trend. Emma Stone's reimagining of the Disney villain appears to have sparked a bold hair change that stars like Selena Gomez and Stefani are game to try.

Stefani's hairstyle switch-up went hand in hand with her black-and-white performance outfit for The Voice season finale. She showed off the style in an Instagram photo, where her bold black bangs and ponytail make way for a glimpse of that shocking platinum color on the side. Although the "Cruella" hair color will likely be around for the summer and beyond, it appears Stefani's look is less permanent. Thanks to the power of clip-on bangs and extensions, she can commit to the trend for the season or just for the sake of one performance — it's up to her.
