As Justin Timberlake gets ready for his upcoming Super Bowl performance, he's clearing the air about his infamous halftime show with Janet Jackson in 2004. During an interview with Beats 1 Radio, the "Filthy" singer spoke candidly about the controversial moment where he accidentally ripped off part of Janet's top, exposing her bare breast on live TV. "I stumbled through it," he said about the incident, which has since been dubbed "nipplegate." "You know, to be quite honest I had my wires crossed. And it's something that you have to look back on and go, like, 'OK, well, you know, you can't change what's happened, but, you know, you can move forward and learn from it.'"

While Justin assured host Zane Lowe that there wouldn't be a repeat of his last appearance at the Super Bowl, he did reveal that he has since made peace with Janet about the whole ordeal. "Absolutely," he added. "I don't know that a lot of people know that. I mean, I don't think it's my job to do that, because you value the relationships that you do have with people." See what else he had to say about the infamous performance, above.
