Queen Elizabeth II Sends Out Her Very Own Tweet — and Here's the Photo to Prove It

Queen Elizabeth II celebrated her 90th birthday in April with a series of celebrations and events all over England. Now that the festivities have died down, the queen has taken to social media to thank everyone for their well wishes and support. "I am most grateful for the many digital messages of goodwill I have received and would like to thank you all for your kindness. Elizabeth R.," the head of the royal family tweeted on Tuesday. Kensington Palace's account then followed up her message with one assuring its 728,000 followers that the tweet was sent by the queen herself. It also shared a photo of her actually writing the tweet. "The Queen has tweeted to thank all who have sent messages of goodwill on social media for her Birthday #Queenat90," it wrote.
