Chase Sui Wonders Opens Up About Her Relationship With Pete Davidson For the First Time

For the past few months, Pete Davidson and Chase Sui Wonders have stayed mum about their rumored romance — until now. In an interview with Nylon, published on May 9, Wonders not only confirmed that she's currently dating the comedian but, for the first time, also shared some insight into how their relationship grew romantic after playing a couple in 2022's "Bodies Bodies Bodies."

"[Pete and I] became fast friends on 'Bodies,' and it was just clear that we could work together super well. He's such a pro, and acting with him is my favorite thing," she said. Wonders also talked about the couple's supportive partnership, adding, "We talk about everything, and we are very open with each other about everything, and it feels like what's happening in our relationship is very sacred."

Fans noticed the undeniable chemistry between Davidson and Wonders once dating speculation started, but it's much more apparent in their latest onscreen project together: Davidson's "Bupkis" — the semiautobiographical comedy series about his life, which premiered on May 4.

Speculation about a possible romance between Davidson and Wonders first began circling in December 2022 when the pair were spotted out together on numerous occasions. Later, in January, the duo were seen again — this time looking rather cozy. In photos obtained by TMZ, the 26-year-old actor was shown with her arm wrapped around the 29-year-old comedian while waiting for their food inside a restaurant in Brooklyn. Reps for Davidson and Wonders did not respond to POPSUGAR's initial requests for comment.

Later, on March 1, the couple were seen kissing in Hawaii, per photos published by the Daily Mail. In the snaps, Wonders stood over Davidson and kissed him as he sat on a bench. The following month, the pair visited Martha Stewart at her home and seemingly got her stamp of approval as, in an Instagram caption, the business mogul called them a "very cute couple." Then, on April 27, Wonders and Davidson were seen cozying up at the New York premiere afterparty for "Bupkis" at French restaurant L'Avenue.

The pair's now-confirmed relationship comes months after the "Saturday Night Live" alum's whirlwind fling with Emily Ratajkowski. The longtime friends were linked together at the end of last year following Davidson's breakup from Kim Kardashian in August 2022. Wonders, on the other hand, previously dated Charles Melton and still has a photo with him posted on her Instagram page.

Only time will tell if Davidson and Wonders go the distance.
