Milo Ventimiglia Says There Will Be a Lot of Resolution in the This Is Us Finale

This Is Us is quickly approaching its final two episodes, and we can already tell it's going to be "crushingly painful." Even though we'll miss crying our eyes out every Tuesday night, we are anxious to learn more about the Pearson family, more specifically how its patriarch, Jack, dies. While we certainly have a few theories of our own, we decided to go to the source. POPSUGAR recently had the chance to talk with the show's star Milo Ventimiglia during the NBC Midseason Press Day, and he gave us a little bit of insight about the much-anticipated finale.

While he did reveal that we're going to "learn pretty quickly what's going on," he insisted that fans be patient and wait for the entire story to unfold. "There's a lot of resolution," he said about whether the finale will end in a cliffhanger. "There's also a lot of questions that will beg answers at the end of the season." Even though he knows Jack will die eventually, he admitted that it doesn't really affect how he plays the character. "Jack is a positive man," he said. "He loves his wife, he loves his family, he tries to just do the best he can. Given that, hopefully it's not about Jack's death, so much as it is about his life."
