Between the horrifically graphic deaths and the great music on this week's episode of American Horror Story: Hotel, you may have missed that one scene is directly lifted from a classic '80s horror flick. Remember the 1987 vampire thriller The Lost Boys? It's a great movie, and it happens to contain one particularly memorable scene. We'll give you a hint: maggots are involved. When Michael (Jason Patric) first starts hanging out with the local vampires (headed by Kiefer Sutherland), they offer him some Chinese food. He starts eating some rice, only to discover that his carton is actually full of maggots. You can't blame the American Horror Story writers for putting their own spin on the scene; it's immensely disturbing.
