Spider-Man: Far From Home's Trailer Answers a Huge Endgame Question

If you're still hurting from that particularly devastating scene in Avengers: Endgame, we have something that might bring a smile to your face — our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is getting back in the groove and taking a little vacation! After breaking our heart again in the tragic conclusion to Endgame, Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland) shows his baby face in the official trailer for the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming, the aptly named Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Taking place after Avengers: Endgame (obviously, considering), Far From Home welcomes back Peter's friends Ned, MJ, and Flash Thompson as they all travel to Europe over Summer vacation. Peter is still dealing with the loss of his mentor and semi father-figure, Tony Stark, and seems to struggle with being his own vigilante and trying to "step up" as a new Iron Man. And of course, he can't catch a break and runs into trouble when Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) asks him to handle some aliens known as Elementals. Fury introduces Peter to Quentin Beck, aka the classic Spider-Man villain, Mysterio (played by Jake Gyllenhaal), who looks positively magical in the teaser trailer. According to Fury, Beck is actually from another Earth, introducing the concept of multiverses to the MCU (and a delightful shout-out to the Oscar-winning Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse!)

Watch the released trailers ahead, and get ready to see Spidey back in action when Far From Home comes to theaters on July 5.
