Amy Schumer FINALLY Had Her Baby, and . . . It's a Boy!

It's official, Amy Schumer has a son! The comedian shared the news of her baby's sex on Instagram in true Amy fashion by first asking people to boycott Wendy's as it's "the only fast food chain refusing to protect farmworker women from sexual assault and rape in the fields." She added at the end of her important caption, "Also we are having a boy." Then, a day later, she posted a photo of her baby boy to share that he was born on the night of May 5, just a few hours before Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's baby!

Before sharing that she was having a son, Amy made it clear throughout her pregnancy that she didn't really care what the sex of her baby is. Although she and her husband, Chris Fischer, have known the sex of their baby for a while, they said that they never planned on making a big fuss out of it à la a gender reveal cake or a pink or blue nursery.

In a video posted to Amy's Instagram on Feb. 12 promoting her new Netflix comedy special, Growing, Amy shared with her followers: "What I wanted to announce was the baby's gender. We're so excited to say that we don't care what the gender is. However the baby identifies is fine, whatever the baby's sexuality is [and] any way the baby identifies is cool with us, as long as it doesn't identify as a DJ, because that's heartbreaking."

In Amy's special Growing, the expectant mom mentions that she doesn't know the sex of her child but does sort of comment on preference despite her above comment: "I don't know what I'm having. I hope it's a girl . . . but really just because it's such a scary time for men." But to Seth Meyers on Late Night, she confirmed that she and her husband do actually know. "We [know], but we don't care," Amy said, continuing on to make the same joke about it potentially identifying as a DJ because a) she's a comedian, and b) she's obviously really passionate about the "no DJ" thing.

Honestly, same.
