Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard Are All Parents When They Say They're Currently "at Each Other's Throats"
Remember when Kristen Bell put on a swoon-worthy dance party outside of Dax Shepard's window when he was self-isolating away from her and their two daughters? Well, it was fun while it lasted! The couple have since reunited, and after sheltering in place together for a few weeks, it doesn't appear to be a form of bonding that they'd even remotely recommend.
"We're getting along good with the kids, and we're getting along good with the adults we are friends with, but this has been stressful for Mama and Dada," Dax told Katie Couric on an Instagram Live video interview, which, he said, took place just "eight minutes" after the two fought.
Kristen confirmed their less-than-ideal situation. "We've been at each other's throats real bad — real bad," she said. "This is as physically close as we've been in a couple of days because we've just found each other revolting."
In what was perhaps not the most constructive segue, Dax alluded that the Frozen star could be to blame: "America's sweetheart has some character defects." He then stepped off camera and proceeded to make strange, dinosaur-like noises that Kristen said was simply done "to poke me."
When Katie suggested the two try to create some space, within their own home, away from each other, Kristen brushed it off as impossible. "He's too big, Katie," she said. "He's too loud and too big. He's everywhere."
Stars — they really are just like us, huh?
