Watch Steph Curry Break the NBA 3-Point Record From Sue Bird's POV

On Dec. 14, the Golden State Warriors' Steph Curry surpassed Ray Allen's record for most regular-season three-pointers in NBA history. The Warriors faced off against the New York Knicks, winning 105-96. Curry made five three-pointers total that game and now has 2,977 career three-pointers (and counting). Four-time WNBA champ and five-time Olympic gold medalist Sue Bird was at Madison Square Garden to capture the historic moment Curry claimed his crown. Bird, who has made the second-most WNBA three-pointers behind Diana Taurasi, posted the above video to Instagram with the simple caption, "Witness✨ Congrats @stephencurry30."

Curry said in a postgame press conference, "I pride myself on shooting a high percentage. I pride myself on allowing that to help us win games. And now, I can pride myself on the longevity of getting to that number that Ray set and hopefully pushing it to a number that nobody can reach. . . . I never want[ed] to call myself the greatest shooter until I got this record, so I'm comfortable saying that now."
