14 Thoughts Everyone Has While on the StairMaster
The StairMaster is the epitome of a love/hate relationship. On the plus side, it burns calories like no other and tones your butt (and who doesn't love a toned butt?). But on the downside, it'll make your legs feel like they're going to fall off. Sure, you may hate this extreme sweat-inducing workout at first, but don't worry, you'll probably hate it a little more the next day when walking is a near-impossible task. But after you get over that hump, you'll feel amazing and realize that the stair climber is actually the best cardio machine at the gym! And we guarantee that your mind will wander to these 14 thoughts during your workout . . .
"What did I get myself into?"
Too many people have already seen you make the big commitment that is the stair climber. There's no turning back now.
"Is this what being really tall feels like?"
It's like my own personal perch up here!
"Wait, this isn't actually that bad."
I can do this! I'm going to start using #fitfam and drinking green smoothies!
"Oh no, it's speeding up."
Stay calm; don't let the other gym-goers smell your fear.
"So this is what death is like."
Goodbye, cruel world.
"I'll just keep that jiggle in my middle; it's fine."
Who needs to wear a bikini in the Summer anyway?
"Must. Keep. Going."
This thought usually only happens when you see that someone hot is about to walk behind you.
"What does my ass look like from up here?"
I bet it looks great. It has to look great . . . right?
"Look at all of those people with their feet firmly on the ground."
OH HOW LOVELY FOR YOU!
"What should I eat after this?"
Let's be honest, we all start thinking about our next meal by mid-workout.
"Is the guy on the machine next to me seriously running up the stairs?"
Oh, you want to race me? You want to race ME? (Please don't race me.)
"I didn't know that my body was capable of producing this much sweat."
I've never felt less sexy in my whole life. But am I feeling strong? Well . . . kind of, maybe, sort of.
Where's my trophy?!
"I'll never walk again."
You may feel that way now, but it's only a matter of time before you're racing up the Empire State Building! And looking totally strong and sexy in the process, of course.
