Mexican Spiced Hot Chocolate
INGREDIENTS
- 4 cups milk of your choice
- 1/4 cup sweetened cocoa powder (regular hot chocolate mix will work, too)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of nutmeg
- Pinch of cayenne
- Pinch of paprika
- Any toppings of your choice
INSTRUCTIONS
In a medium saucepan, add all ingredients. Heat over medium heat until simmering, stirring frequently.
Remove from heat and serve immediately with toppings of your choice such as whipped cream, marshmallows, chocolate syrup, or extra dashes of cinnamon and spices.
