Zoe Saldana Opens Up About Her Twins' Premature Birth

Zoe Saldana is having all the conversations about motherhood and parenting that no one else is having. The actress has been open about her struggles with training her twins, Cy and Bowie, to sleep through the night and getting fit postdelivery, and now she's speaking up about her sons' premature delivery.

In an interview with People, Zoe said, "When I was in the neonatal intensive care unit with my two sons, I became like every parent that was on that floor. My husband and I were at the mercy of our nurses and doctors — our children's lives depended on their every move." The star then decided to support Brave Beginnings, an organization that gets the right medical equipment that premature babies need to hospitals. "I went through it. I was there. I was a parent and my children were the ones that benefitted from having excellent services from the hospital. And I want that for every parent. I want that for every child," Zoe added. Since then, Cy and Bowie are only doing well — check out proof by looking at their cutest moments with Zoe and her husband, Marco Perego.
