Watch Megyn Kelly Shut Down Trump's Campaign Manager Over His Comments About Women

On Wednesday night, Donald Trump's campaign manager Kellyanne Conway appeared on Megyn Kelly's show to discuss his performance during Monday night's presidential debate. During the interview, Conway attempted to say that Hillary Clinton's attack ads against Trump, specifically the ones demonstrating his misogyny, were "not nice."

Rolling her eyes, Kelly responded, "Come on. It's not nice? They are running for president. Of course she's going to hit him with negative ads." Conway then said if Clinton is going to run ads, they should be true. Kelly appeared taken aback and shut her down again. "The ads that she's running about him when it comes to his comments about women use his words, Kellyanne," she said.

Kelly has first-hand experience with Trump's tendency to make sexist remarks. She hosted the GOP debate in August 2015 and asked Trump about calling women "fat pigs" and "dogs." Trump accused her of being unfair but took it one step further by insinuating Kelly only asked the question because she was on her period. "There was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever," Trump said in a postdebate interview on CNN.

While Kelly did defend Clinton's use of attack ads in the new interview, she was not entirely enthusiastic about the Democratic nominee. Kelly added that Trump should be "hitting her right back, should he not?"

The truth of the matter is, Trump cannot deny his long, distressing history of making derogatory comments about women. Kelly merely reminded her viewers of the facts.
