"We’re definitely going to do different types of contours and powders. I have an amazing under-eye concealer kit coming out. I feel like I’ve perfected that over the years — there are so many steps. I have dark circles naturally being Armenian, and it’s such a process to really get your under-eye perfect. I feel like we’ve got that down now. I think you need a combination of things. Ours is a four-step [routine]. You can use each of them if you just want a lighter look, one for a heavier look, but it is a process. You do need steps. It’s not really one product if you want it completely [gone], like no dark circles, if that’s the look you’re going for."

"This fragrance is so exciting because I’ve literally done everything from start to finish. I just shot a campaign, which was so exciting for me to do and have it all be on my own terms, my photographer and styling. [I picked out] the team on my own. . . . I think my favorite floral is a gardenia, so my first fragrance will be a gardenia scent. I think it's reminiscent of my first-ever fragrance, which was heavily gardenia. It doesn’t come out until Fall, so we’ll have more time to talk about it then."

"I’ve given it to all my sisters and my mom. But I think as far as feedback, my makeup artist, Mario, and I really love to bounce ideas [off each other] and we really try it out together. And I’ll ask a ton of makeup artists. I love that professional opinion, getting their ideas and feedback. I’ll even FaceTime Mario like literally at 2 in the morning and show him tons of shades on my face. [I'll ask him] exactly which shade he likes better, just wanting to perfect the color. [If] I’m on a deadline, he [can] be so helpful."

"Just even doing the collab with her on our lip kit . . . we really were able to work together and really figure [it] out. I learned so much just seeing the process and seeing how much work really goes into it, from start to finish. I mean, she doesn’t really look at my formulas or what I’m doing, but sometimes we’ll just be together, and I’ll just show her my packaging and everything. She gets super excited."

"I really wanted to start my line with something that I was really currently using. No matter what look I’ve done over the years, contour has been something that's been constant, we’ve always done with every look. Contouring is just what I do every single day, whether it’s a lighter look with cream and powder added on top or a heavier contoured look or just me doing it myself when I only have five minutes. Even if I’m doing a no-makeup look, I’ll just bronze up my face. I always like my face to look tan. I thought it was just the perfect product for me to start with because it was what I was using all the time."

Why She Made a Duel-Ended Sponge and Blending Brush
Why She Made a Duel-Ended Sponge and Blending Brush
Full Story

"Everyone who knows me knows in my makeup bag, I have the oldest kabuki brush. I think it was discontinued 10 years ago. I’ve had it for almost 15 years, and it’s like falling apart. I actually found one at Kourtney's house in her drawer, and I just screamed at her for holding out on me because she never uses it. I was like, 'You know this has been my brush and I’m stealing it!' I only have one, and it’s just my favorite brush as far as blending, [as well as] putting contour, foundation, and anything creamy on my face. It’s exactly how I would blend my foundation. The bristles are dense, and it’s really easy to use. So I kind of reformulated that and made sure that we got the exact bristles and made it the same. Then the other side is a sponge-like blendable applicator. I always use a sponge on my under-eye or in smaller areas. I just thought it was the perfect combination and wanted to make them dual-ended, because I hadn’t really seen anything like that."

"We’ve seen that our customer and our fan base has been such a wide range. But I hope it’s someone like me who might not have a lot of time and just wants to look really snatched at all times. When I wear contour, it’s because I not only want to chisel my face, but I also want to be warmed up. I want that darkness mixed with the highlighter. I want to look refreshed. And that’s what it does for me. So I think [it's] a girl who loves makeup and wants it to be super easy and fun."

Why Contour Sticks Instead of a Palette?
Why Contour Sticks Instead of a Palette?

"For the last year, especially the taking some time off, I would just want to find contour sticks that were creamy, light, and easy to use instead of in a palette, so I made it have this really cool bullet-like tip."

"Over the weekend someone just contoured my chest. Not, like, on my boobs but right above them. I’d seen that before, but no one had ever done it [to me]. For me personally, I love to use this contour stick sometimes as like a lip liner and a lipstick. It can be a light '90s kind of brown color that’s not too dark. . . . Yeah, it is [hydrating]. You can always put a lip balm, like, over it, if you just want the color. It’s really blendable and creamy. And you can build on top of that. There’s so much you can do with it. I literally use contour everywhere."
