Addison Rae Gives Her Glazed-Doughnut Nails a French Manicure Spin

In case you haven't heard, the latest nail trend on our radar is the glazed-doughnut french manicure, a combination of the viral Hailey Bieber-inspired nails and classic french tips. Addison Rae is the latest to take the remixed mani for a spin — but not without adding her own touch, of course.

On Aug. 9, celebrity nail artist Natalie Minerva, who's also the genius behind "Euphoria"'s bold nail art, shared a close-up look at a recent manicure she created for Rae. The Item Beauty founder's long, almond-shaped nails featured a milky-white ombré french, topped with a shiny glazed-doughnut finish. Minerva also added tiny crystals to each of her nails, with star decals on the ring fingers. "Keeping it soft and sweet for her VACAY NAILS," the artist captioned the video.

We first discovered the glazed-doughnut french by way of celebrity nail artist Queenie Nguyen, who shared the new trend last week. "Given how chic the viral glazed-doughnut nail trend is, I wanted to combine it with a timeless french manicure to create a modernized version of french tips," she recently told POPSUGAR. "My ultimate goal was to create another wearable look that is subtle and works great for all skin tones and nail lengths."
