One word to describe the beauty looks on the 2023 Critics' Choice Awards red carpet? Expensive. But Madelyn Cline achieved her look on a budget. The "Knives Out 2" star arrived at the Fairmount Century Plaza on Jan. 15 dressed in a Givenchy gown but glammed out in all E.l.f. Cosmetics makeup products.

Celebrity makeup artist Jen Tioseco created the actor's look for the big night, taking inspiration from Old Hollywood glamour. "We didn't want to overpower the gown with overly bold glam, so we focused on bronzed, glowy skin with her signature liner and pouty lips," Tioseco said in a press release. "It was the perfect balance, to let both the dress and her glam have their own moments while complementing each other perfectly."

To start, Tioseco color corrected with the Camo Color Corrector in Blue ($4) before going in with the TikTok-viral Halo Glow Liquid Filter in shade 2 ($14), giving her complexion a radiant, soft-focus glow. Then, she blended the Hydrating Camo Concealer in Medium Warm ($7) into Cline's face with a fluffy brush. To achieve her chiseled bronzed look, Tioseco used the Luminous Putty Bronzer in Summer Fridays ($7) and set the base with the Stay All Day Blue Light Micro Setting Mist ($10).

For Cline's eyes, the No Budge Cream Eyeshadow in Plateau ($5) and Bite-Size Eyeshadow in Rose Water ($3) were mixed together. Tioseco then created a cat eye using the H20 Proof Eyeliner Pen ($7) and added the Mega-Curling Lash 'N Roll Mascara ($6). Cline's brows were treated with another viral product: the Brow Lift ($6), which is an editor favorite, too.

Last but not least, Cline's signature pouty lips were coated in the O-Face Satin Lipstick in Dirty Talk ($9), a nude pink. To round out her ensemble, the actor's hair was styled in a tucked lob with a deep, dramatic side part by celebrity hairstylist Ted Gibson.
