Eva Mendes is trying to teach her kids Spanish. Admittedly, it could be going better. The actress recently stopped by The Talk, and on the subject of her two daughters, 4-year-old Esmeralda and 3-year-old Amada, Eva joked that they've mastered Spanglish. "We're trying to teach the kids Spanish, and it's harder than I thought because I speak Spanglish, and that's what they're picking up," she said. Before imitating her daughters, Eva added, "It's adorable, but it's technically not a language."

She actually shared a similar sentiment in an interview with POPSUGAR earlier this year. Eva told us, "We're working on Spanish with them. They love their grandpa, and they know that Abuelo doesn't speak English. They communicate great, because they speak a little Spanish, it's practiced every day."

Eva also opened up about previously not being set on having children. What changed her mind? Simply put, "Ryan Gosling." She added, "I was never one of those women who really wanted children, and then I fell in love with Ryan." Watch the heartwarming interview clip above.
