What to Wear to Watch the Super Bowl

Let's Be Honest, the Outfit Is the Most Important Part of the Super Bowl

Sports fans with a penchant for playing the odds might be devoting a lot of time right now to weighing who's most likely to take home the trophy in Sunday's Super Bowl, but our brains are where it really matters — on what we'll be wearing to watch the big game. Whether you're hosting a shindig at your space or heading out to a bar to catch the action, it's not too early to start thinking about what you'll wear. Deciphering a daytime event where you want to be cute, but comfy, and ideally in something that your girlfriends will compliment but your guy friends won't guffaw at is tricky at best. Still, with a little bit of thought, we think we've landed on a pretty perfect solution.

Start with comfy skinny jeans, and add flat sneakers that will support hours of cheering (better yet if you find a pair in your team's colors). Embrace the day's athletic theme with a varsity top or tank, like this muscle tee printed with the type of bold block letters you might remember from your high school beau's letterman jacket. Top it off with an on-trend bomber jacket if things are chilly where you live, and blissfully skip worrying about your hair by slapping on a classic cap in favor of whoever you're rooting for.
