We've officially made it to the last month of 2023, and your yearly horoscope has made one thing clear: big changes were made. Your 2023 horoscope was marked by two major transits: at the tail end of 2022, Jupiter, the planet of expansion, shifted from Pisces into Aries, where it stayed through the first five months of this year. And in March, Saturn, the planet of challenge, shifted from fixed air sign Aquarius into docile water sign Pisces, where it will remain for the next two and a half years.

Together, these two transits asked us to spend the first quarter of the year releasing our reliance on fantasy and focus on bold action. But when Jupiter entered Taurus and Saturn settled more comfortably in Pisces, we entered a new phase altogether — one in which we felt more inspired by our evolved consciousness.

When looking at what to expect during the rest of 2023, it's important to note the importance of when Pluto, the planet of transformation and rebirth, began its retrograde from Aquarius back into Capricorn in June, after having made a monumental shift out of Capricorn, where it had been for 14 years. This astronomical event showed us where we must evolve, even when we didn't feel ready to.

Now, we have just a few more major events to wrap up the year: a new moon in Sagittarius, the end of Sagittarius season, the beginning of Capricorn season, a cold moon in Cancer, one final Mercury retrograde, and so much more. As we progress through the rest of the year, the stars are asking us to take a step back to reassess everything we thought we knew about humanity — giving us a chance to define what freedom looks like for us on an individual and collective front.

Here's what your yearly horoscope is highlighting for you. Read your horoscope first according to your rising sign, then according to your sun sign. For the full picture of the rest of the year, be sure to read your zodiac sign's love horoscope, sex horoscope, money and career horoscope, and wellness and happiness horoscope, too.

Aries Horoscope 2023 (March 21-April 19)

According to your yearly horoscope, this year has served as a midpoint of sorts for you, Aries. Chiron, the asteroid that represents our inner wounds, has been in your sign since 2018 and remains there until 2026. Now that we're almost finished with this year, you're being asked to reflect on your healing journey. Meanwhile, Jupiter's presence in your sign from Dec. 20, 2022, to May 16, 2023, catapulted you to new heights, starting a 12-year cycle of growth and transformation in your life, refusing to let you get stuck in the past.

Once Jupiter shifted out of your sign and entered Taurus on May 16, finances once again became a key theme. But instead of focusing on generational wealth, you've been focused on your day-to-day finances and creating more stability in that area of your life. Going forward, the key may be to simplify your lifestyle and take on fewer responsibilities while maximizing return on the investments and financial choices you do make.

The North Node's entrance in your sign on July 17 has also made you activated. The North Node symbolizes one's higher destiny, which means that if you've been feeling lost or confused about your path, you're likely to have one last "aha!" moment in the last month of the year as you let go of distractions and commit to your evolution.

As we get ready for 2024, consider yourself a magnet for whatever you'd like, be it a committed and healthy partnership, a more trustworthy circle of friends, a promotion at your dream job, or the manifestation of your dream home. Trust that the universe wants you to win and that you're already on the path to achieving your deepest aspirations.

Taurus Horoscope 2023 (April 20-May 20)

According to your yearly horoscope, life got pretty sweet for you this year, Taurus. This is a welcomed blessing, as you've been going through major spiritual upgrades with both the North Node and Uranus in your sign. Uranus remains in Taurus until 2026, but on July 17, the North Node switched out of your sign and entered Aries for the next year and a half.

During the first half of 2023, you kept integrating lessons that first began in early 2022 — when the North Node entered Taurus and made you face yourself in a raw, vulnerable, and unapologetic way. You now feel much more familiar with your own shadows, strengths, insecurities, and talents than ever before. This self-knowledge may have led you to mourning the end of relationships or connections that weren't sustainable. As we finish out the year, continue to trust your body and the messages it's sending you, and you'll have succeeded.

Jupiter, the planet of expansion, entered your sign during Taurus season on May 16 and will remain there until May 25, 2024. Jupiter hasn't been in your sign for 12 years, so think back to where you were in life in 2011, as well as the goals and aspirations you had for yourself. A new 12-year cycle began in May — the weeks since have likely been some of the most transformative and significant ones of 2023 for you and will continue to be.

You don't have to replay broken records in your mind, but during the last month of 2023, you may want to focus on infusing more physical activities as a form of self-healing. Whenever you feel angry, go for a run or a bike ride and let yourself scream in the forest. Sex can also be used as a healing portal, if done mindfully with the right partner(s) and with mutual consent. You're being asked to lean into your healing journey and view it as a spiritual adventure, rather than an emotional burden. Close out the year by making the healing process fun!

Gemini Horoscope 2023 (May 21-June 21)

The start of 2023 may have given you the feeling of déjà vu, Gemini, as your planetary ruler, Mercury, was retrograde in Capricorn until Jan. 18 and Mars was retrograde in your sign until Jan. 12. But fortunately, your yearly horoscope gave you some opportunities to tie up any loose ends. After Uranus ended its retrograde in Taurus, you may have noticed that you felt more grounded and less stressed, and, ever since, you've likely been able to treat yourself with more gentleness on your healing journey.

One of your missions this year was to connect with people on a deeper level rather than remaining on the surface. The North Node's presence in Taurus until July helped you break past superficiality and truly see yourself and others as multidimensional, ever-changing beings. And when the North Node entered Aries, it activated your friendship sector. This had you reevaluating your priorities and examining your own double standards and contradictions.

When Venus shifted retrograde in Leo on July 22, your sector of communication was activated but also slightly distorted, and you may have taken everything people do or say more personally. Hopefully you took a tech detox around that time and looked within yourself for validation.

As we wrap up 2023, let yourself be as sensitive and untethered as possible. Therapy, yoga, meditation, journaling, plant medicine, and spiritual retreats may be right up your alley. Choose to reinvent yourself mindfully by believing in the best-case scenario and taking the step-by-step approach to self-transformation.

Cancer Horoscope 2023 (June 22-July 22)

For you, Cancer, your yearly horoscope has felt like a sort of wonderland. In 2023, you were gifted the opportunity to cultivate healthy emotional detachment (that's right, detachment) in different areas of your life, especially regarding the passion projects and long-term investments you hold near to your heart. But this may have been easier said than done.

Saturn's entrance into Pisces on March 7 had you committing to the idea of letting love in through surrendering fully — and that means you haven't exactly been in the mood to think "rationally." At times, you've felt downright lazy this year — and that's actually a good thing.

But romantically speaking, Venus's retrograde in Leo from July 22 through Sept. 3 might have activated some insecurities you previously masked from others (and even from yourself). Now that the retrograde is over, give and receive love from a pure place.

All the same, it's best to let go of the need for security, as you'll be starting fresh when it comes to friendships and communities this next month. You'll be in a revamped state of mind by the time the year ends. Your annual cold moon in Cancer on Dec. 26 may have you wanting to kiss your evolved self under the mistletoe — that's how magnetic you'll feel.

Leo Horoscope 2023 (July 23-Aug. 22)

Your yearly horoscope has been a process of reconditioning yourself, Leo. Astrological shifts earlier this year brought you from thinking about your connections from a more intellectual perspective to being fully immersed in your deepest emotions and navigating those feelings by finding healthy outlets to express them to the parties involved — especially through humor.

Living a life you truly love has been a major theme for you this year. Jupiter's entrance into Aries in April helped you harness your passions toward a tangible goal, and its shift into Taurus on May 16 encouraged you to find a strategy to align your professional trajectory with your passions.

Venus's retrograde in your sign from July 22 to Sept. 3 had an equally humbling effect on you, as you were asked to define yourself for more than your beauty or external accomplishments. Who are you without those attachments or labels? This is the year where you truly reveal yourself to yourself. Love this for you!

Virgo Horoscope 2023 (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

This year began slow for you, Virgo, but quickly picked up speed. Your annual full moon on March 7 may have led to you receiving a promotion at work or making a significant change to a close partnership (either leveling up or breaking up). But Saturn, the planet of challenge, entered Pisces on the same day as your full moon, activating your partnership sector for the next two and a half years and helping you learn to flow through life's tumultuousness and take things one breath at a time.

The solar eclipse new moon in Aries on April 20 helped you kick-start a six-month cycle of wealth building, one where you allow yourself to take greater leaps of faith. Jupiter's presence in Aries until May 16 also infused more abundance in your life, and you may have been making some smart money moves.

One of your key lessons this year, especially once the North Node shifted into Aries on July 17, was to stop humbling yourself so much, Virgo. As we finish out the rest of this year, embrace the limelight, or normalize letting yourself be publicly seen and celebrated. Visualize yourself in March 2024, and overcome your inner blockages by truly living in alignment with your highest self.

Libra Horoscope 2023 (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Libra, 2023 was the year when you surrendered to the universal flow and truly learned the meaning of "trusting the process." On April 20, a new-moon solar eclipse in Aries activated your sector of partnership and marriage, drastically changing your life for the better for the remainder of the year. Now, you may be feeling fulfilled and grateful for your intimate partnerships.

After an intense Taurus-Scorpio eclipse cycle these past two years (the cycle officially ended on Oct. 28, during the final lunar eclipse in Taurus), your solar eclipse helped lighten up the collective energies, ushering airy and expansive vibes into the cosmos just when you needed it most. You may have started 2023 on a chill note, but the final month of 2023 will feel explosive. All eyes will be on you, baby.

Scorpio Horoscope 2023 (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

According to your yearly horoscope, you've been taking the meaning of "phoenix energy" to a whole new level, Scorpio. Ever since January 2022, the South Node, a symbol of our karmic past, has been transiting through your sign, encouraging you to get to know all aspects of yourself profusely and to not fear what you find. This year has been the year of externalizing your wisdom and reaping the rewards of your courage. We've also had a series of eclipses in the Taurus-Scorpio axis for the past two years, and on May 5, we experienced the final eclipse in your sign for several years — a full-moon lunar eclipse in Scorpio. This eclipse may have felt like a rite of passage of sorts.

Jupiter's presence in Aries for the first five months of 2023 deepened your imaginative streak, as it activated your sector of wellness and health. If all you did from January to May was allow yourself to experience more peace (be it through weekly massages, buying yourself a new book each month, saying yes to dates with intriguing people, or playing your favorite instrument), then you have aligned with Jupiter's mission for you.

Saturn's shift into Pisces on March 7 may also have felt quite peaceful, as it activated your sector of true love, adventure, and pleasure. Your mission during this Saturn transit (which lasts until 2025) continues to be to accept the goodness pouring into your life without constantly looking over your shoulder and wondering if it's all a facade. You manifested this, Scorpio. Accept your rightful blessings.

Once the South Node shifted out of your sign on July 17 and entered Libra, you likely felt lighter still, as though you've made it through a spiritual graduation. No matter what happens this last month of 2023, be happy that you didn't give up on investing in yourself, protecting your peace, and cultivating your prosperity.

Sagittarius Horoscope 2023 (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

According to your yearly horoscope, boundaries have been essential for you to maintain this year, Sag — especially while Jupiter was in Aries up until May 16, activating your sector of fate, true love, and adventure.

On June 3, the full moon in your sign took place, leading to a period of celebration for you. You may have celebrated a personal milestone such as a promotion at work or the launch of your start-up, or an awakening in your relationship, one that helped you liberate yourself from past patterns and feel more aligned.

You truly came alive in Q4, Sag, especially after Oct. 28, once the final lunar eclipse in the Taurus-Scorpio eclipse axis occurred. Your planetary ruler, Jupiter, went retrograde in Taurus, asking you to take a more grounded and mellow approach to goal setting. At first, it may have felt like you were moving too slowly and not making enough progress, but by the time Mercury entered Sag on Nov. 10, followed by the sun and Mars on Nov. 22 and 24, you understood why you had to hit the brakes in October.

Everything will pick up its pace significantly during Sag season, and by the time you set your Sag new-moon intentions on Dec. 12, it'll feel like all your birthday dreams have already come true!

Capricorn Horoscope 2023 (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

This has already been a major year for you when it comes to spiritual development and financial growth, Capricorn. The year started off with you sitting on the sidelines as an observer as Mercury retrograde influenced Capricorn season, and Saturn's final few months in Aquarius encouraged you to raise the volume on your inner voice and trust your instincts.

When your planetary ruler, Saturn, shifted out of Aquarius on March 7 and entered Pisces, where it remains until 2025, you likely began to feel more sensitive. Pisces energy harmonizes with yours, while Aquarius energy tends to feel more frictional, so this shift is a welcomed change — but at first, you may have thought something was off. Nothing is wrong, Capricorn. You're healing. And healing looks good on you.

On May 1, Pluto began its first retrograde in Aquarius in decades. For the past 14 years, you've gotten used to Pluto in your sign, teaching you the reinvigorating depths of transmutation. You were asked to cultivate the spirit of healthy emotional detachment, and that may have looked like reevaluating your professional priorities.

A major theme for you as we close out 2023 is asking yourself, "Who am I beyond the status I always strive for or the numbers in my bank account?" Knowing your worth beyond the material and tapping into the expansive powers of your spiritual abundance are your keys to fulfillment and bliss.

Aquarius Horoscope 2023 (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

This year, you said goodbye to Saturn, your planetary ruler, which has spent the past two and a half years in your sign, Aquarius. That may have made the first or second quarter of this year feel like a radical rebirth, where all of your visions, ideas, and aspirations from the past two years compiled into one big bang. But its shift into Pisces on March 7 activated your sector of security for the next two and a half years. Money won't matter to you as much in the conventional sense; you'll be focused on the type of wealth that can't be quantified: spiritual wealth and divine health.

When Jupiter, the planet of abundance, moved into Taurus on May 16, you may have begun to spend time reflecting on your communication patterns with your family and past. These are two areas of your life where people tend to view you as elusive or inconsistent, and since Jupiter is the planet of fortune, you'll attract more luck and prosperity the rest of 2023 when you dare to face these themes head-on rather than being ambivalent.

When Venus's retrograde in Leo happened between July 22 and Sept. 3, your sector of partnership and marriage was activated, which meant there were some speed bumps you had to navigate, particularly if you or your partner(s) felt neglected or taken for granted. Your pride and ego may have caused some drama around this time, even if you tried your best to "stay cool."

Hopefully, you admitted that you do have emotions, you do get passionate, and you do get angry. There's no benefit to coming across as someone who doesn't care; in doing so, you end up isolating yourself from both yourself and from others. As we close out December, you're likely to enter the final month of 2023 feeling inspired, realigned, and ready for a fresh start.

Pisces Horoscope 2023 (Feb. 19-March 20)

Pisces, this has been an auspicious yet challenging year for you because Jupiter, the planet of abundance, left your sign at the end of 2022, and Saturn, the planet of responsibility, shifted into your sign on March 7, where it'll remain for the next two and a half years. You've been feeling Saturn gradually creeping up on you, and in a way, its presence in your sign these next few years will feel like a sharp contrast to the jovial, expansive, whimsical, yet somewhat unpredictable energy of having experienced Jupiter in Pisces these past 13 months.

All that to say, you may go from feeling like you're the universe's favorite to feeling like the universe chose you as the person it wants to put through the most trials and tribulations. And perhaps it did. Are you up for this mission, or will you shrink away in fear? The choice is yours.

Once Jupiter shifted out of Aries in May and entered Taurus, your focus shifted to communication and creativity. This is the year you learned less is more. You may have ended up having fewer responsibilities and a more chill social life, but that'll lead to greater opportunities in alignment with your current journey and more discernment around what and who deserves your energy.

In order to truly receive all the blessings coming your way, you should clear space spiritually, physically, and psychologically this last month of 2023. Let go of all the thoughts and objects that keep you tied to your past, and make room for a vibrant future.
