6 TV Shows to Watch on Netflix Before They're Rebooted

It's hard to keep all the TV reboots straight these days. Several of this Fall's new shows are revivals of old movies and previous TV shows, and we're not complaining. We're really excited to see some of the new spins on vintage properties! Then again, some aren't so old at all — looking at you, Prison Break. Thankfully, Netflix is here for you. The streaming service has the original versions of several shows that are getting the reboot treatment. Here's what to watch now!
Gilmore Girls
Catch up on the original series (or watch it all over again) before Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life comes to Netflix!
Twin Peaks
Don't you want to know what all the fuss is about? It's time to buckle down and watch David Lynch's bizarre series in anticipation of the exciting revival.
Star Trek
Star Trek is returning to TV in 2017, but before it does, you can watch a ton of iterations on Netflix, including the original '70s series, plus Voyager, Deep Space Nine, Enterprise, and First Contact.
The X-Files
OK, so The X-Files returned to the small screen earlier this year, but because there's talk of the famous series returning for more episodes, it earns a spot on this list.
Arrested Development
Arrested Development is in a similar situation to The X-Files. Netflix already rebooted it for a fourth season, but supposedly season five is in the works. Then again, Will Arnett isn't even sure at this point. For now, stick to the original episodes!
Prison Break
You have plenty of time to watch the original four seasons before the Prison Break reboot premieres in 2017.
