In 2017, Melania Trump sparked plenty of controversy with her outfit choices. This year, however, she's been lying low. Except for a few public appearances abroad and around holidays, Melania remains hidden away. But if there's one thing we know for sure about the first lady, it's that she still has a taste for luxe designer pieces.

When she does step out, it's Ralph Lauren this or Dior that. And, of course, we can't forget about Melania's love for Christian Louboutin shoes. Take a look at her outfits so far for the year. You'll come to conclude Melania's still . . . well, Melania.

When French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte Macron visited the White House on April 24, Melania coordinated with Brigitte in white. She wore a Michael Kors Collection ensemble from the Spring '18 collection and Christian Louboutin pumps. It wasn't long before Melania's hat drew comparisons to Beyoncé's Formation look on Twitter.

On April 24, for a State Dinner to welcome the president of France, Melania sparkled and shined in a Chanel dress. A pair of Christian Louboutin heels peeked out from underneath the sheer hem.

While welcoming the French president and his wife on April 23, Melania wore a Givenchy cape. It definitely made a style statement as everyone walked across the lawn.

During a tour of the Flagler Museum in Palm Beach on April 18 with Akie Abe (wife of the Japanese Prime Minister Shinzō Abe), Melania wore a green utilitarian dress from Derek Lam and a pair of Christian Louboutin heels.

Call it accidental twinning, but Melania's Carolina Herrera dress just so happened to match the stripes on President Donald Trump's tie as they held hands. The duo walked with Japan's Prime Minister Shinzō Abe and wife Akie Abe to dinner at Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida on April 17.

The Trumps arrived for a Church service in Florida on April 1. Melania wore a printed Azzedine Alaïa dress and Christian Louboutin heels.

On March 19, Melania walked across the South Lawn with Donald Trump after returning from a trip. She bundled up in a thick navy coat from Chloé and wore a pair of eye-catching cognac-colored boots.

The Trumps greeted Prime Minister Leo Varadkar of Ireland on March 15. Melania wore a green sheath dress from Brandon Maxwell and a pair of Christian Louboutin snakeskin pumps.

President Donald Trump and Melania greeted Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Sara Netanyahu on March 5 at the White House. Melania covered up in a pastel blue Max Mara belted coat. She wore her usual go-to shoes: a pair of Christian Louboutins.

On Feb. 23, the Trumps welcomed Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and Lucy Turnbull to the White House. For the occasion, Melania wore gold snakeskin pumps that matched the designs on her Dolce & Gabbana coat dress.

The Trumps touched down at the Cincinnati Municipal Lunken Airport on Feb. 5. Melania wore a yellow sweater and outerwear from Ralph Lauren and a brown leather skirt from Pierre Herve.

For President Donald Trump's first State of the Union address on Jan. 30, Melania wore a white Dior suit paired with a Dolce & Gabbana top. The outfit choice led us to speculate whether or not Melania was secretly trying to send a political message to the world.
