If you thought Olympic athletes were put up in five-star accommodations wherever they travel, the following images might be a little . . . eh . . . shocking. In fact, they may even make you feel a little nostalgic! Remember your college dorm? Did you get a bedding set from Target or Amazon — maybe even one that matched your roommate's? Ikea furniture supplemented the bare-bones infrastructure that was already in place, and you didn't have a whole lot else because, well . . . it was college.

Take a gander at the Pyeongchang Olympic Village in South Korea: a cross between a minimalist hotel room and a college dorm. It's like a little walk down memory lane. And while it's not exactly the most romantic setting, we think they'll make do regardless.
