Calendar seasons aside, my taste buds will never tire of fall flavors, especially when it comes to pie. Apple pie, specifically, is a dessert that sees most of its time under the spotlight during November when Thanksgiving rolls around. But one TikTok user gave the cozy treat a cool smoothie makeover that I can't wait to sip on all summer long. To create the creamy smoothie, TikTok user Bearenger Petrella (@bearenger) combined frozen apples, bananas, coconut milk, dates, and pie-themed spices for a drink that I can officially confirm tastes exactly like apple pie.
Like Bearenger, I topped my smoothie with a few fresh apple slices, coconut shreds, and a generous sprinkle of cinnamon. If you want to make this healthy dessert a little more indulgent, I would highly recommend topping it with whipped cream, a drizzle of caramel sauce, or even a spoonful of homemade apple crumble. Add the apple, banana, date, coconut milk, vanilla, and spices to a high-powered blender and blend until smooth.
