Flickr Celebrates Double Digits With One Photogenic Video

A decade ago, the social-sharing Internet looked very different: Facebook was just beginning to select college students, and on Feb. 10, 2004, Flickr introduced itself as a little home on the Internet for your pictures. Since then, it's become a much larger home for photos — over 6 billion of them, to be precise — in addition to a legitimate space for everyone from professional photographers to hobbyists to families with some awesome vacation snaps to share their photos with the world.

To celebrate its entry into tweendom, Flickr compiled some of its most striking photographs into one beautiful video that commemorates each year its been online.
