Google Translate's New Features Will Make You Go, "Whoa!"

Google

The Google Translate app is great and all, but it just got a whole lot better thanks to an upgrade. For one, you can now simply point your camera at a sign or text and the translation will automatically appear on your screen, even when you don't have Internet or data connection. (Previously, you had to actually take a photo to get the translation.) This currently works from English to and from French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish, but will soon expand to other languages.

Plus! The new version also automatically recognizes which languages are being spoken when you're in conversation mode — meaning two people who speak different languages can actually chat without much trouble.

Hooray! Or should we say, hourra!
