Ikea Furniture Just Got a Whole Lot Better

As if Ikea furniture couldn't get any better, the Swedish company recently announced its plans for wireless charging furniture. The line of lamps and bedside tables will come with portals to charge your devices. You'll also be able to buy Ikea-designed pads that add the charging capabilities to your existing furniture. The new gadgets are rolling out today in Europe and will hit the US in late Spring.
The pieces will support the common Qi industry standard, which means they will be compatible with iPhones and Samsung devices. Plus, Ikea will sell wireless charging covers for other gadgets. UK prices will start at $46, but there is no word yet on US pricing.
