One of the biggest moments from last night's Oscars came when Eddie Redmayne won for best actor thanks to his work in The Theory of Everything. He portrayed Stephen Hawking — the renowned physicist who lives with ALS — and said, "This Oscar belongs to all of those people around the world battling ALS. It belongs to one exceptional family — Stephen, Jane and the Hawking children. I will be his custodian. I will be at his beck and call. I will wait on him hand and foot."
Stephen Hawking himself took to Facebook when he heard the news.
Congrats to them both!
