Go Inside a Lunch Break Nose Job

Editor's note: Before moving forward with this post, I want to reiterate that you should only make changes for yourself. If something bothers you, there's nothing wrong with changing it, but it should be for you — and nobody else.

It's 2017. (Surprised?) There are new and innovative treatments on the market that can alter your look and don't require going under the knife — or a permanent change. It seemed like 2016 was the year of lip enhancements; 2017 has embraced the nose job. If you peruse Instagram, you'll find videos of noses transforming in front of your very eyes, while the patient is still awake. This take on rhinoplasty is the nonsurgical nose job, meaning the patient is fully awake for the procedure, it (usually) requires no anesthesia, and it can be done in as short as 20 minutes.

We visited Nurse Jamie, owner of Beauty Park Medical Spa in Santa Monica, CA, to see the treatment for ourselves and learn about the process, where the patient is injected with filler, and sometimes Cortisone, to even out the shape and symmetry of the face. Check out the video to learn more about how the process works, how long it lasts, and what other parts of the face can be treated to help with symmetry.

As always, when looking for any registered nurse or plastic surgeon, make sure to do your research — and we don't mean checking their Instagram. Make sure they are registered, read Yelp reviews, and always go in for a consult prior to receiving any treatment.
