14 Drugstore Beauty Products You Need in Your Life This Fall
Between Labor Day sales, Ulta's 21 Days of Beauty, and E.L.F. launching a new product every day this September, there's a lot for beauty-lovers to be excited about right now . . . and some of the best is still yet to come.
That's because some of the drugstore beauty launches we've been looking forward to for months are finally hitting stores, and we can't wait to share them all with you.
From Sally Hansen's highly anticipated salon chrome kits (they're as easy and striking as we imagined) to NYX's answer to the metallic lip trend taking over this Fall (and, of course, some pumpkin spice products along the way), read on for 14 cosmetic, skin, and body products that will enhance and inspire this season, some as low as $3.
Maybelline The City Mini Eye Shadow Palette
Maybelline's new mini eye shadow palettes ($10 each) were designed for making an impression, whether you're mastering the big city or brunch in your hometown. We especially love the mix of everyday neutrals and bold shades in this color combo (there are eight palettes total).
Gillette Venus ComfortGlide Vanilla Crème Razor
New look; same close shave. Gillette's beloved razor ($8), designed with flexible blades that move along with your curves, recently went through a rebrand for Fall. Each blade is surrounded by its own moisture bar — made with olives, avocados, and kokum fruit — for moisturizing as you maneuver.
NYX Suede Metallic Matte Lip Gloss
NYX Cosmetics is tapping into one of Fall's biggest trends — metallics — in a big way with a new range of suede metallic mattes ($8 each), available in 13 shades. Whether you go for one of the neutrals or deep berries (there are also a few wild cards thrown in along the way), you will achieve a smooth, saturated finish that catches the eye and lasts.
Dove Refresh+Care Fresh & Floral Dry Shampoo
Fresh meets floral in this new dry shampoo from Dove ($5), which leaves hair looking and smelling clean without being too overpowering. The brand is also introducing its first unscented option for those who still prefer their products fragrance-free.
Physicians Formula Powder Palette Mineral Glow Pearls Highlighter
Part of Physicians Formula's 80th Anniversary Collection, this new powder highlighter ($9) is like an Instagram filter in a compact. Just sweep the pearlescent formula across areas you'd like to accent (it also helps to blur and soften lines) and you're ready for your close-up.
L’Oréal Paris Pure-Clay Cleanser
L'Oréal is expanding its pure-clay mask line with a new collection of three cleansers ($7), each available in convenient squeeze tubes. This detoxing formula, in particular, also contains charcoal for ridding skin of impurities (such as pollution and excess oil), leaving skin both brighter and smoother.
Burt's Bees Pumpkin Spice Moisturizing Lip Balm
Burt's Bees is giving its beloved lip balm a Fall makeover with a new pumpkin spice flavor ($3). The formula is not only extremely moisturizing, but also 100 percent natural, so you don't need to worry about accidentally ingesting some with your morning latte.
Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter Creamy Body Wash
Save space in the shower with this new body wash from Soap & Glory ($14). It was designed to serve as a cleanser, shaving cream, and moisturizer in one and leaves legs so smooth you'll feel like you're wearing a pair of silk stockings.
Youthful Vitamin C Fresh Radiance Essence
This radiance treatment from No7 ($25) is developed with pure vitamin C for achieving more even, radiant-looking skin in as little as two weeks. After just a few uses of the lightweight, refreshing serum, we began to notice an improvement in smoothness and brightness.
Revlon Youth FX Fill + Blur Foundation
This new miracle foundation from Revlon ($14), available in 12 shades, contains micro-fillers and optical diffusers for filling in and blurring lines, wrinkles, and any other imperfections for a smooth yet natural-looking canvas. The Youth FX line also features a primer and concealer for those looking for enhanced results.
Sally Hansen Salon Chrome Kit
Each of Sally Hansen's highly anticipated chrome kits ($15) contains a chrome powder, chrome top coat, and sponge applicator for achieving that mirror-like effect created by the pros (now in the comfort of your own home!). Scoop them up in Gunmetal (shown), Mermaid, Rose Gold, and Peacock now. A special Holographic version will also be available for $30 at Ulta this October.
Jergens Nourishing Honey Dry Skin Moisturizer
The hero ingredient in this new moisturizer from Jergens ($6) is orange blossom honey, which attracts moisture from the air and preserves it for the ultimate in hydration. As if quenching your skin's thirst wasn't appealing enough, the sweet citrus-floral scent smells amazing and lingers long after applying.
Sonia Kashuk Limited Edition Geo Brush Set
Sonia Kashuk comes out with a new range of accessories every season, and each seems better than the last. This time around, we're crushing on this set of geo-print brushes ($20), which contains all of the essentials for creating your favorite makeup looks.
Pixi by Petra Rose Flash Balm
This flash balm from Pixi by Petra ($24) is formulated with antioxidant-rich rose water and goes on triple duty as a moisturizer, primer, and mask in one. We suggest stashing one of the commute-friendly tubes in your bag for long days at school or the office when you need a little pick-me-up.
