  • "The Batman" premieres on March 4 and features Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman.
  • The iconic role has been played by actors like Halle Berry and Anne Hathaway.
  • We rounded up the best beauty moments from all the Catwoman characters.

If you couldn't already tell from her international tour (and subsequent looks on Instagram), Zoë Kravitz will soon be gracing our screens as Catwoman in the upcoming movie "The Batman." We're looking forward to Robert Pattinson, but we've got say: we'll be there mostly for Kravitz, or, more specifically, Catwoman.

Catwoman is a beloved Batman character who has been played by industry greats, such as Eartha Kitt, Halle Berry, and Anne Hathaway. Aside from delivering boss energy long before it was all over social media — seriously, who doesn't aspire to just love cats and kick ass? — Catwoman has always consistently served up a good beauty moment. Kitt's high ponytail in the "Batman" TV series was the perfect resting place for sparkling green cat ears (and matching eyeshadow), Michelle Pfeiffer's bold smoky cat eye in "Batman Returns" (1992) was nothing short of iconic, and Lee Meriwether was clearly ahead of her time with her spiky brows in "Batman: The Movie" (1966). It's no surprise that the character has consistently been a staple Halloween costume.

In honor of "The Batman"'s premiere today, we're taking a look back at Catwoman's best beauty looks throughout the years.

One feature in particular stood out on Lee Meriwether's Catwoman: her brushed-up eyebrows. Reminiscent of the bushy-brow trend sweeping the beauty space today, Meriwether's look was particularly spiky — as if a cat had licked their paw and rubbed it on her face.

Eartha Kitt's high ponytail let audience see her sparkling green eyeshadow, which matched both her cat ears and her Catwoman costume. We know a monochromatic beauty trend when we see it.

Michelle Pfeiffer's Catwoman costume was definitely a head-turner, but the star of the show? Her dramatic smoky cat eye with bold flicked eyeliner. The elongated shape of her wing made Pfeiffer's blue eyes stand out even more.

Anne Hathaway's Catwoman had more changes done to her costume, but the character kept her signature brunette hair color and clean-looking makeup. Maybe she predicted the satin-skin trend?

Zoë Kravitz is the latest star to take on the role of Catwoman, and she's already given us buzz-worthy looks while promoting the movie. As Catwoman, Kravitz's best beauty moment has to be her close-shaven pixie haircut.
