Sophie Turner Goes Back to Blond After 2 Years as a Redhead
Sophie Turner is back to blond. After the actor's iconic red hair color made her a standout in the hit series "Game of Thrones" in which she played Sansa Stark, Turner opted to stick with the color for a while after the show ended. She's graced red carpets at the Met Gala and Vanity Fair Oscar Party wearing the shade, but in an Instagram carousel posted on June 1, Turner unceremoniously revealed that she is officially back to her natural roots for the first time in years.
The carousel was captioned: "#galicante #henidorm HOLZ IS GETTIN HITCHED," and in the first picture Turner was spotted with some friends on what looks like a rooftop. Her hair fell down her back and was dyed a warm blond shade, similar to the "khaki" hue that has been trending over the last few weeks, but with a bit more dimension. Turner did not elaborate on whether the new hue was for an upcoming role or not, but as long as she continues to give hair inspiration like this, we won't be asking any questions.
If you're on the hunt for your own hair color transformation this summer, popular shades include everything from "Barbie" pink to Pam Anderson blond. If you're still deciding, take a closer look at Turner's new 'do below to help you make up your mind.
