Kate Hudson Takes Her Kids on Vacation to Sicily — See Their Fun-Filled Beach Photos

Kate Hudson has one seriously adorable family. While the "Knives Out 2" star has shared a number of sweet moments with her mom, Goldie Hawn, and her "Pa," Kurt Russell, she also has three kids of her own.

Hudson welcomed her first child in January 2004, a son named Ryder Russell Robinson, with her then-husband Chris Robinson. After divorcing the Black Crowes singer in October 2007, the actor fell for another musician, Muse frontman Matt Bellamy. The two got engaged in April 2011 and eventually welcomed a son, Bingham Hawn Bellamy, that July. Although the couple ended their engagement in December 2014, Hudson found love again with her now-fiancé, Danny Fujikawa.

The pair first met when Hudson was pregnant with Ryder but didn't start dating until December 2016. The two remained friends for quite some time until a spark lit after a casual hike together turned into an "unexpected first date." After five years of dating and having their first child together, Fujikawa proposed to Hudson in September 2021; she shared the big news in an Instagram post showing off her engagement ring. Fast-forward to present day, the couple are parents to a little girl named Rani.

It's unclear if Hudson has plans to expand her family again, but she did say she's open to having more children during a February 2020 appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." "I don't know if I'm done. I'm in that place of like, right now, Rani is at that age where you're like, 'I want another baby.' But once she gets like 4 or 5, you're like, 'I feel like my life is kinda back a little bit [and] they're kinda in a groove,'" she explained. "It's weird . . . it's like a window."

In Byrdie's After-Dark digital issue, published on Dec. 12, 2022, Hudson still couldn't reveal if she had plans to have any more children. "I've got my 4-year-old and I've got a kid in college," she said at the time. "And I don't even know if I'm done yet. You know, I don't have that answer yet."

While a fourth kid may not be in Hudson's future yet, she's content with her current coparenting arrangement with her children's three fathers. "It might not look traditional from the outside, but on the inside, I feel like we're killing it," she said in an interview with The Sunday Times, per People. "The unit that I've created with three children with three different fathers is a seriously strong unit, and it's ours."

Kate Hudson's Son Ryder Russell Robinson

Born on Jan. 7, 2004, Ryder Russell Robinson is Hudson's first child, whom she shares with ex-husband Robinson. Per People, Robinson's middle name is a tribute to his mother's stepfather, Kurt Russell, who's been the longtime partner of Hudson's mother, Hawn, since 1983. Much like his famous family, Robinson seems to want to follow in their footsteps and have a career in the entertainment industry, as he plays the guitar in his band named Codependence.

According to Hudson, another one of Robinson's talents is being the comedian of the family. "I would say he's probably the funniest in our family," the actor previously told Seth Meyers on his late-night talk show in September 2021. "So, this is like every day for me. Nobody makes me laugh like Ryder, and he just constantly makes fun of me."

Kate Hudson's Son Bingham Hawn Bellamy

Hudson's second son, Bingham "Bing" Hawn Bellamy, was born on July 9, 2011. The actor shares him with ex-fiancé Bellamy. Like his older brother, Hawn's name also has a special meaning, according to Bellamy. In a since-deleted tweet, the musician wrote, "For those wondering, Bingham is my mum's maiden name and Bing Russell was Kurt's dad. Family connections all round!" Hawn doesn't share the same passion for acting like his dear mom, but he does have a surprising interest in stocks.

During the same September 2021 appearance on "Late Night With Seth Meyers," Hudsons shared that her second-born, who was 10 years old at the time, "loves playing the stock market," adding that he even asked for stocks for his birthday. "It is a thing, and he follows them," Hudson said. "He wakes up, he looks on his apps, and follows his stocks. And he makes good money."

Kate Hudson's Daughter, Rani Rose Hudson Fujikawa

Hudson's one and only daughter, Rani Rose Hudson Fujikawa, was born on Oct. 2, 2018, to the actor and Fujikawa. In keeping up with family traditions, the name of Hudson's baby girl also has a special meaning: she's named after her grandfather Ron Fujikawa. "Ron was the most special man who we all miss dearly. To name her after him is an honor," Hudson wrote in a 2018 Instagram post.

The actor frequently posts photos of her and her daughter on Instagram, sharing everything from selfies to their own personal photoshoots. For Rani's 4th birthday (she is now 5), Hudson penned a sweet tribute to her and captioned a photo series, "Our dreamy girl is 4 years today! Happy Birthday to Rani Rose! Rani fills our hearts so full of love as she meets everyday with enthusiasm, beauty and humor. We partied hard today… the princess way 👸🏼 #HAPPYBIRTHDAY."
