14 Things You Didn't See on The Bachelorette "Men Tell All"

This week The Bachelorette "Men Tell All" episode aired, and honestly, it was pretty groundbreaking. Even, dare I say, feminist? And that's saying something considering this season started out (controversially) with two bachelorettes. In the July 20 episode, host Chris Harrison addressed the double standards surrounding Kaitlyn Bristowe's sexuality on the show and how the cyberbullying she's faced is "100 percent not acceptable." He even read aloud some of the most horrific tweets attacking her for being a "slut" to give people an idea of the hate she has faced every day this season.

But what didn't make the show? I attended the taping of the episode — two big takeaways, the bathroom was filled with rose petals and Ben Z. smelled as nice as you imagined — so if you want to get the scoop on what didn't make the final cut, read on!

Tanner made a "pull my finger" joke to Ian that fell flat.

After Ian got down on his knees, Chris Harrison said, "I didn't know where that was going."

JJ called Tanner "the scribe of all things Bachelorette."

JJ talked about how he had a lot of memories about his ex-wife in New York, where he "lost momentum" with Kaitlyn.

He also said the "physical connection was dwindling" with Kaitlyn.

JJ was really nervous about Chris Harrison's "announcement." He even let out a sigh of relief.

Don't worry, it was just about you being on Bachelor in Paradise. Tanner also made another "coming out" joke that got cut.

Ben H. said that JJ called him and apologized after the show, adding "He's a great dad and friend."

Ben Z. said he wasn't in love with Kaitlyn at that time.

The way it was cut made it seem like he affirmed he was "falling in love" with Kaitlyn.

After Jared was in the hot seat the guys were passing around red Solo Cups.

I can't confirm what was in them.

Josh said, "I wish she had come to my room."

When Ben H. was in the hot seat, he said Kaitlyn came to Shawn's and his room to "hang out" for six hours without cameras. Joe added that she sneaked into his room for "five minutes" to say hi. Under his breath Josh added, "I wish she had come to my room."

Ben H. told Chris Harrison, "The Perfect Letter is on my nightstand."

Apparently, Ben H. is a fan of Chris Harrison's romantic novel!

When Kaitlyn came out, the guys were just shaking their heads at how good she looked.

Some were even loosening their collars. Although that might have been because of No. 14 . . .

Chris Harrison said, "I will take you as a role model for my kids over a cyberbully like this."

Chris showed his support for Kaitlyn against the bullies with harsh words against the critics and kind encouragement toward her. He rhetorically asked the audience, do we really have to say that "enough is enough?"

Chris Harrison said, "It's f*cking hot in here today."

Ben Z. confirmed this, telling me, "It was really, really hot in there, and I was sweating bullets."
