Jimmy Fallon Details His Daughter's First Day of Kindergarten Drop-Off: "Absolutely Terrible"

Jimmy Fallon may have danced with Jenna Dewan, grooved with Jennifer Lopez, and even sang with Christina Aguilera, but when it comes to family, Jimmy is just like all of us, as in: he cries during drop-off at the first day of school. The Tonight Show host recently sat down with Jennifer Garner to talk about Jennifer's entire family attending her Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, and noted how special those moments are. Jimmy and Jennifer were all laughs at first, but then Jimmy revealed what went down earlier that day, and how the tears were flowing.

"She just went to Kindergarten today," Jimmy shared emotionally. "I didn't cry, but I did kind of. I didn't want to be the dad that cries, but even her walking into the school made me start getting sad. My wife totally lost it, she got all the other moms crying. The other dads were cool, so I had to be cool. . . It was absolutely terrible, I couldn't hide it at all."

Jimmy has two daughters — 5-year-old Winnie and 3-year-old Frances — and we all know there really is no feeling like sending your first child off to kindergarten.
