Selma Blair has been a face of hope and inspiration for the multiple sclerosis community since her diagnosis in Oct. 2018; but to her 10-year-old son Arthur, she's just Mommy. "He says, 'Mommy's not sick. Mommy's brave," she revealed in the Aug. 2019 cover story for People. From witnessing his mom fall down the stairs to seeing her exhausted or sick, the After actress explains her son has experienced a lot more than other kids his age. "He's had to endure a lot; he's seen a lot," she said. Though, Blair has always kept it very real with Arthur, even when he asked if her diagnosis meant she would die. "I always want him to feel safe, never responsible for me," she told Good Morning America's Robin Roberts. Read more about Arthur Saint Bleick ahead. He's definitely a special little dude.

Arthur Saint Bleick

Born on July 25, 2011, Arthur Saint Bleick is Blair's only child, whom she shares with former boyfriend and fashion designer Jason Bleick. Whether it be on social media or in interviews, the Cruel Intentions actress has always been very outspoken about Arthur and their relationship. Some may even remember the intimate moment Blair shared of Arthur shaving her head following her MS diagnosis.

In a sea of changes, the 48-year-old mom knew MS would bring its challenges; but, she didn't expect her son to adapt so wonderfully. "I had no idea Arthur was proud of that," she told People, referring to her visits to Arthur's school and with his friends. "I thought 'I'm probably an embarrassment,' but to know I'm not was one of my proudest moments." Blair has taken to Instagram many times vocalizing how proud and happy she is of Arthur's courage, bravery, and heart.
