6 Iconic Carrie Bradshaw Looks We Found at Zara

Carrie Bradshaw asked a lot of questions, usually beginning with the phrase, "I couldn't help but wonder . . ." Well, there were so many things I couldn't help but wonder about Carrie as I watched the iconic Sex and the City series over and over again through the years. Like, how did she manage to make the stuff of ballet and biker chick costumes look so damn cool with staples from the early 2000s? I mean, the woman pulled off a pink tutu (and then a purple one in the second film) better than I can your average maxi skirt.

No matter where the trend cycle takes us, it seems like Carrie Bradshaw is always an appropriate style icon. She infused her outfits with flavor and sophistication all at once, and that's the real kicker. Also, Carrie was well-versed on designer collections, so she knew how to work an entire ensemble around a novelty piece, like the Dior newspaper dress for example, or a pair of Manolo Blahniks.

Everyone has favorite Carrie outfits, but I see the beauty in every single one of her looks. No one can actually be Carrie — we all know how impossible it is to afford shopping in between breakfast, lunch, and dinner every single day, while also managing a column and finding time to keep up with a guy like Big — but we can certainly take inspiration. Believe it or not, I took the time to sift through Zara's site, and re-created six of Carrie's fashion moments that'd easily on trend today. Now I just can't help but wonder, will my bank account be mad if I re-create some more?
