Acai Bowl Recipe

A Green Smoothie Bowl You'll Want All Summer

Even with countless smoothie recipes to choose from, sometimes it's fun to switch up your breakfast game. Instead of sipping your breakfast, a smoothie bowl is a great way to get the same nutrients and have a little fun while you're at it. Case in point: acai bowls, jam-packed with good-for-you nutrients from acai, a superfood that is high in antioxidants and healthy fats. Throw on your choice of healthy toppings, and transform your smoothie into a crunchy, chewy, cooling smoothie bowl that satisfies.

This green smoothie bowl from The Juice Generation: 100 Recipes for Fresh Juices and Superfood Smoothies ($16) ups the nutrient factor with the addition of spinach and kale. Don't be worried about the deep green color; you won't be able to taste the veggies in this sweet mix.

If any of these toppings aren't to your liking, you can experiment with others — check out this acai bowl recipe for more ideas.
