Calling the Aperol Spritz — a classic Italian aperitif of Prosecco, Aperol, and sparkling water — the grown-up's answer to orange soda might be selling it a bit short, but it's an apt descriptor as it tastes not unlike a sophisticated spin on the childhood favorite. Aperol's main and most identifiable flavor is bitter orange, while Prosecco and sparkling water give the drink a fizzy lift. Combined, it's easy to drink, refreshing, and perfect for sipping as the sun sets on hazy summer afternoons.

    • 3 parts Prosecco
    • 2 parts Aperol
