I Made This Caramel Apple Sangria, and I Gotta Say . . . I May Never Go Back to the Regular Stuff
When I say that this caramel apple sangria might be my new favorite drink, I'm being very serious. As it is, I'm a big fan of sangria. I have very fond memories of sipping on my first true sangria in Spain many years ago, but I also love finding new twists on the classic wine-based drink. And this caramel apple sangria is unbelievably delicious.
Would you believe there's a winery that makes apple-pie-flavored wine? There is, and it's Oliver Winery. Since I'm always game for sweeter wines, I decided to give it a try, and turning the apple wine into a sangria seemed like a no-brainer. It comes together so easily with diced apples, and it's so refreshing and crisp. I even added some caramel drizzle to my glasses for an extra touch of sweetness, but you could just drink as is if you prefer. Check out the recipe below, and try it yourself!
