Married or not, all these couples in 5 years time will not be together anymore. No one wants to work on a marriage or a relationship anymore it's just easier for them to pack up and leave. Society has never said it's ok to have kids out of wed lock but Hollywood has glorified it to the point where it's a right of passage for couples to get pregnant before saying "I do" a couple of months after starting to date and please if anyone knows the big wigs in Hollywood that have been married over 40 years please by all means enlighten me because couples now a days want the big party to tell everyone that they're married and then 5 years down the road when they realise it's not what they want out of life or instead of actually working on their marriage they just give up and separate.

To each their own. I personally don't think it's a big deal, but my parents are pretty traditional though, so I'm pretty sure they'd have a mini freakout sesh if I got pregnant before getting married.

Actually I think Jennifer and Ben got married while she was pregnant. So technically they didn't have a child out of wedlock.

I think traditional family structure is great I just don't feel that it necessarily provides any more security. But maybe I'm just the jaded child of divorced parents:-)

There's no way I'd risk having a baby without the security of a family in place (i.e. marriage), but I'm traditional and that's just me..
