When she's not in the waves, professional surfer Tiarah (aka Tia) Blanco basically lives in activewear. "I'm pretty much working out every single day of my life," she tells POPSUGAR. "Yoga, running, boxing, whatever it is." So when the opportunity arose for her to create a yoga apparel capsule with Jolyn, a brand for which she's a surf ambassador, Blanco was determined to create her dream collection, taking "every single favorite piece of clothing" she has and meshing it into 10 key items. Now the 25-year-old dons those for everything from happy hour to a hot date with beau Brody Jenner (who surfs too, FTR).

You may recognize Blanco from her Instagrams, perhaps, or from her winning stint on ABC's 2021 reality competition "The Ultimate Surfer," which qualified her for the elite World Surf League Championship Tour. Competing in the tour was a lifelong goal of Blanco's. Her run ended in South Africa in July, and now she's taking a second to bask in the afterglow rather than gunning it for more.

"I'll always love surfing regardless of if I'm competing or not," she says. "Recently, I've been through waves of not feeling as competitive as I used to. I still have select events that I partake in and I take them super seriously still and I train hard for them. But yeah, recently, I've just been falling in love with surfing all over again and spending time in the ocean."

Now, when Blanco's not on her board at home in Oceanside, CA, reconnecting with her love for the sport, she's grounding herself through her wellness routine. For her, that means following a plant-based diet, hitting her yoga mat daily, and taking moments for self-care — and here are the five products she swears by to help.

Tia Blanco's Affordable Must Have: Jolyn Makaha Flare Pant

Blanco calls out the Makaha Flare Pant ($56) from her Jolyn collection as her "everyday go-to leggings." When she was designing them, Blanco says she wanted to make sure they were super soft, "stretchy, but at the same time very supportive," and had a perfectly flattering-yet-comfortable waistband. "When I practice yoga, I really like to flow in between movements, and the flare pants felt very natural and feminine during my practice," Blanco says. "When I designed these pants, I really felt it was important to make women feel feminine and empowered."

Pro tip: Made with Zentek fabric, they're sweat-wicking, quick drying, and made for medium-impact activity, so you can take them far beyond your yoga mat if you want.

Tia Blanco's Investment Must Have: Nama Vitality 5800 J1 Cold Press Juicer

Blanco uses her Nama Vitality 5800 J1 Cold Press Juicer ($399) weekly. "I love to go to the farmers' market and load up on a bunch of local produce in season that is great for juicing," she says. "I always find myself juicing celery, lemon, apples, and parsley. Sometimes I will do shots of turmeric and ginger to spice things up."

Cold-press juicers (aka slow juicers) crush and press produce, whereas traditional centrifugal (or high-speed) juicers use a spinning blade to chop fruit and veg. Cold-press juicers typically extract more juice from foods with more of the nutrients intact, since the heat created by centrifugal juicers can damage or strip the nutrients from the ingredients. This Nama model promises to yield up to 60 percent more juice from the same amount of ingredients than with high-speed juicers.

Pro Tip: You can also use this Nama juicer to make smoothies, sorbets, and even plant-based milks at home.

Tia Blanco's Morning-Routine Must Have: Ewedoo's Eco-Friendly Yoga Mat

Blanco tries to get on her Ewedoos Eco-Friendly Yoga Mat ($25) "every single morning," she says. "I always feel like a better version of myself after I practice yoga. I love this mat because it's not only affordable but also has amazing grip so that I can push myself in the poses." This mat is made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), which is considered more eco-friendly than other rubber alternatives because it consumes less energy during production and can often be recycled. The center line serves as an alignment marker to help you check your form on every pose.

Pro Tip: "In surfing, I'm always paddling forward with my arms, so I've found that heart openers are very important for me. For example, I always make sure I incorporate backbends like Camel Pose and standing poses like Dancer's Pose. Also, my hip flexors tend to tighten up after I surf for a long period of time, so I try to get into Pigeon Pose as often as possible."

Tia Blanco's Sleep Must Have: Dear Self Skincare Rosehip + Sea Kelp Moisturizer

Hours in sun and saltwater can do a number on your skin barrier. Blanco turns to Dear Self Skincare I Am Gleaming Rosehip + Sea Kelp Moisturizer ($39) to help protect her skin before and after surf sessions. "My skin is really sensitive and dry, so this Dear Self Skincare product is amazing because it's hydrating but also never breaks me out," she says. "Honestly, I feel like the saltwater and sun are great for my skin, it's just important to make sure I rejuvenate my skin with the right products afterward."

Pro Tip: Made with three nourishing skin-care superstars — rosehip oil, jojoba oil, and hyaluronic acid — plus antioxidant-rich algae extract, this moisturizer promises not to react with even the most sensitive skin. Plus, it's easily buildable, so you can seamlessly add it to your daily skin-care and makeup routine.

Tia Blanco's Sneaker Must Have: Nike Air Max 270

Blanco is admittedly not the "biggest sneaker person" — after all, they don't make for great beach shoes. That said, she loves the Nike Air Max 270s ($160). "They're super comfortable, and I feel like they go with almost every outfit," Blanco says. "I wear these sneakers to run errands and even to work out."

Pro Tip: With 14 different colorways, there's a Nike Air Max 270 for everyone. Pair them with a flippy tennis skirt or workout jumpsuit for an athleisure look that'll take you anywhere.
