None of these would work for my dad. He would be offended at the more low-brow suggestions ("Bacon?" he would say, eyebrows raised, "this is a joke, right?") and he doesn't golf. He's diabetic, so beer-related presents would be sad and remind him of the good ol' days of imbibing alcohol, and he's balding, so he would be insulted by the haircutting gifts. I also just feel like these are really generic and don't apply to the immigrant man who doesn't fit into a stereotypical model of an American dad.

Love the ideas!  Especially the remote control beer opener.  One of our top picks for this year is the Freebeneath Robe (I'm a gift expert from TheGiftInsider.com) - it's a pullover robe that has a little kangaroo pocket to hold your remote control , would be a perfect combo gift.
