It's a four-letter word for some or a get-thin-quick solution for others. While most of us know that dieting isn't sustainable and probably is unhealthy (especially if you're trying a fad diet that involves restrictive meal plans or supplements and promises hard-to-believe results), the lure of dropping pounds fast can lead many to try it out.
